Graduation!

Yesterday was such an amazing day! I finally graduated from SCC! This has been about 6 years in the making. I am so proud of myself for finally doing it. I am also very thankful for my friends and family that supported me and pushed me through this whole process! Especially my parents and Kory who pushed me to actually finish and not give up. I LOVE YOU ALL!

I'm Getting Married!

Alright so far I have not been any better at keeping this blog site up to date! On January 5th (my 24th birthday) Kory surprised me with dinner out with our families at Outback. Little did I know when we showed up that wasn't the only surprise he had in store for me. After dinner....he proposed! I was so shocked I think the first thing out of my mouth was "are you serious?" It was an amazing surprise and definitely the best birthday I have had in a long time! We are planning on getting married August 13th of 2011. I have created a wedding website and here is the link if you want to add it to your favorites and follow all the updates.

This quarter has been a tough one in school and I am really thankful that I am not working so that I actually have time to keep on top of my homework. It is definitely a more intense quarter than I have had in the past, but it is my last quarter of classes and then next quarter I have internships and then graduation in June! I can't wait to get back to work doing something that I love and actually working full time again.

Kory and I are doing AMAZING! I am so thankful to have such an amazing guy in my life that is supportive of everything that I do and only wants what is best for me. He pushes me to do better in my life and I love it. We recently started eating healthier and working out more trying to get into better shape and live a healthier life. It is nice to know that he is doing this with me and that he supports me 100% with it.

I recently lost a friend that kind of took me by surprise. I understand that some people don't agree with how I am doing things in my life and don't necessarily agree with Kory and I getting married, but what they also don't understand is how much happier I am with him. Things in my life are so much different than they were this time last year and so much better. I think the hardest part about losing this particular friend was just that we were so close and instead of just telling me how she felt about things she just up and left and wanted nothing to do with me anymore. I just wasn't sure how to take it.

Anyways other than all of that life has been pretty good. I am off to the gym now :) Hope everyone else is doing good :)

My Crazy New Life

Wow..so where to start. Well I am officially restarting this blog site and hoping to be a little better about keeping it up. As a lot of you know my life has done like a total 180 in the last couple of months but I can honestly say that I am happier now than I have been in a LONG time!

I have an amazing new boyfriend who is seriously the greatest guy in the world and I couldn't have asked for anything better. He is my rock when I need him. He is loving, caring, and my best friend. Our relationship has moved a lot faster than either of us expected it to but when you find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with why wait? I love him so much and I love the life that we have :)

Kory (my new boyfriend for those of you who don't know) is 25 and plays hockey. We spend a lot of time watching hockey between his season tickets to the Chiefs and than his games that he plays at Eagles Ice Arena once a week. He is a mechanic for Jewell Excavating and is eventually going to go back to school for his Accounting Degree.

Kory's family is so freaking AMAZING! His sister has become like my best friend :) She is seriously my rock whenever I need her and I love her to death...plus she does my nails for me and is amazing at it. Korys parents are some amazing people and I love them to death. They raised such an amazing son and I adore them for that.

We just spent our first Christmas together...which this year was by far the best Christmas I have had in A LOT of years. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. We went to church with my parents and watched the Christmas program which was pretty good. Then we went to my brother Andy's and had dinner with his family and my parents. Then we opened presents and played some games. It was really fun. Then Christmas morning we got up early and did stockings with each other. Kory got me all sorts of lotion and candy for my stocking...and the Green Bay Packers Hoodie that I have been wanting forever! Then we went out to his parents and spent the whole day out there with them and Korys sister and her family. I got totally spoiled by Korys family. I got so much stuff from them it was amazing and I was in total shock. It's so nice to see that they really love me and are happy to have me in their family.

I have been pretty busy lately. I just finished Fall quarter and am getting ready to start Winter quarter in a week. My fall quarter was definitely the worst one I have had EVER. But I put my two weeks in at work a couple weeks ago and am just going to spend the next 6 months focusing on school and getting through this so I can graduate in June. I am finally seeing an end in sight but it is definitely going to take some serious dedication and focus to get there.

Well I guess that is all for now. I will try harder to keep this a little more updated.
